What are cold accumulators used for ?

Cold accumulators, whether solid or flexible, play an essential role in maintaining the freshness of your beverage throughout its service. Solid cold accumulators are specifically designed to be positioned at the bottom of the cooler, creating a stable cold base. Before inserting the 5 litre keg into the cooler, the solid cold accumulator must be carefully placed at the bottom. This position helps maintain the ideal temperature for your drink.

The 3 flexible cold accumulators surround the keg once it has been placed in the cooler. This configuration optimises the distribution of cold around the keg, ensuring that your drink stays fresh throughout its use.

To maximise their effectiveness, it is essential to prepare the cold accumulators by placing them in the freezer for at least 24 hours before each use. This prior step ensures that the accumulators reach the freezing temperature required for optimum performance. In addition, between each use, we recommend that you return the accumulators to the freezer to keep them in ideal conditions for the next use.
